dream outfit

As you can probably tell from my previous post, the rain has turned to snow...:( Today I am sitting in my office wrapped in a blanket wearing jeans, boots, a hat, and a hoodie. It's April 8th. While I realize that I live in Utah, I am still a California girl at heart. I would just so much rather have it be like last Friday, which was a wonderful sunny and 72 degree day. I would also rather be wearing this lovely outfit below.

Lauren Conrad and the Maxi

Lauren is always wearing Maxi Dresses and I think she looks so cute doing it, so I decided to feature her again on my blog...here she is in all of her cute simpleness! But she looks so good! This is what I want to look like in a Maxi.

Maxi Dresses

In light of my recent trip to NYC and a recent viewing of the Sex and the City movie, I'm also obsessing over Maxi Dresses.

I love the scene when all the girls are in Mexico and they're all wearing them. It just makes me want to indulge and buy one for everyday of the summer. However, I'm very short so it's a little bit hard for me to find one that doesn't drown me. I'm going to rely on wedges to help me out though. I love the look with flat sandals is the problem.

Here are just a few that I'm loving. I love the bright patterns and the simple casual stripes. I also just love plain ones, but I don't think I posted any of those on here.
