Unruly

I'm loving messy hair right now...mostly because it's so much nicer to not have to fix your hair or worry about it being perfect. It's always nice to get ready and have perfectly fixed hair, but it's nice to know on the days that you don't have time for it or feel like it, this look can fly. Plus, I think guys probably like to "see your hair down" if you know what I mean. They don't want you to be perfect all the time anyway. The whole, I like you better in your sweats with no make-up on thing. And if they do demand perfection all the time, then I'm probably not gonna get along with "those" ones and I feel bad for the girls who end up with them. I feel like this look will probably be around for a while for that makes me happy.

Maxi Dresses

In light of my recent trip to NYC and a recent viewing of the Sex and the City movie, I'm also obsessing over Maxi Dresses.

I love the scene when all the girls are in Mexico and they're all wearing them. It just makes me want to indulge and buy one for everyday of the summer. However, I'm very short so it's a little bit hard for me to find one that doesn't drown me. I'm going to rely on wedges to help me out though. I love the look with flat sandals is the problem.

Here are just a few that I'm loving. I love the bright patterns and the simple casual stripes. I also just love plain ones, but I don't think I posted any of those on here.

Love Whitney. One of the only normal ones off of the Hills/City etc. Haha. I think she has the best style and she's so cute. I would love to have her job. If you've read her book, or even looked through it, she has a great sense of decorating style too.

I'm actually looking forward to this! I think she's so cute. She was just on Chelsey Lately promoting this and she was so funny.

It's supposed to be an advice book for girls in their twenty from things such as what to wear on a first date to how to decorate an apartment to what to do about puffy eyes.

All I know is, she's the cutest one from the Hills and the City, so I'd read it! Actually I'm sort of interested to see what Lauren's fashion books say.

Anyway, I'll let you know how it is if I end up getting it.
